Welcome to the Tips & Tricks protion of the Dogmen Website!

So there should be no excuses when it comes to game time.

 

"Tip of the week"

This play is designed for when the other team
has a runner on 2nd base.

Timing is the most important part of this play.

Defensive play "Red"

1st and 3rd Basemen

    • When our pitcher comes set

    • Charge home plate as if the batter is bunting

    • Yell "Bunt!!!" to help disrtact the runner on 2nd base

Shortstop

    Holds runner on 2nd base

    • When our pitcher comes set

    • Get of the bag and do something to distract the runner

    • Then cover 3rd Base

2nd Baseman

    Wait until pitcher comes set

    • As soon as Shortstop leaves bag

    • Dart for 2nd and be ready for throw
